We are looking for a Technical Analyst to join our HRIT team in building innovative products that our employees don't just use, but love. You will be responsible for coordinating the requirements/design/QA for rich & dynamic client-side interfaces using JavaScript/Java Technologies. You will tackle the challenges of rapidly-growing, responsive applications that have thousands of visitors every day, and will also have aligned responsibility to the cloud/vendor solutions for LinkedIn HR. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own the requirements/design/QA of front-end development for one or more of our HR products and collaborate with visual/interaction designers, engineers and product managers to launch new products, iterate on existing features and build a world-class user experience
Contribute to the creation of Enterprise Learning Systems strategy, platform and architecture for Learning Platforms as well as Applications Integrations, reporting and analytics
Leverage latest technologies to keep LinkedIn HR at the cutting edge of innovation
Collaborate with colleagues, including product managers, and engineers assigned to your project(s)
Coordinate the development and communication of policies, procedures, feature updates, and operational status of the learning platforms
Research, identify and recommend learning technology trends and act as an advocate for future updates, upgrades and implementations
Maintain key relationships with HR Systems vendors
Generate and create HR metrics
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of web development experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
MA/MS degree
Experience with HR Systems Global Support
Experience with learning solutions for corporate users
Exposure with JavaScript/Java and semantic HTML/XHTML and CSS
Exposure integrating front-end code with server-side technology and QA Methodologies
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance, accessibility and usability
Knowledge of browser quirks and their remedies
Familiarity with project management techniques
