HR/Payroll Administrator

Are you detail-oriented and great with numbers? We’re looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team! In this role, you’ll ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, maintain employee data, and provide reports that support key HR decisions. If you enjoy digging into data and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a great fit.

What the HR/Payroll Administrator does:

• Process weekly multi-company payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws.
• Maintain payroll records and employee data in the HRIS.
• Audit and reconcile payroll and timekeeping data, identifying and correcting errors.
• Generate and analyze HR reports related to headcount, turnover, compensation, and other metrics.
• Manage employee leaves of absence, including responding to leave requests, tracking leave, and managing benefits.
• Support internal and external audits related to payroll and HR data.
• Respond to employee questions related to payroll, timekeeping, and deductions.
• Support the department’s goals by performing additional HR-related tasks and assisting with special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (or equiv).
• 3+ years of payroll experience.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and payroll processes.
• Proficiency in HRIS (Paylocity preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
