HR/Payroll Specialist

Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join their team as an HR/Payroll Specialist. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth employee experience, from recruitment to ongoing support.
What you'll do:
Partner with the COO to recruit top talent through effective job postings, interviewing, and onboarding.
Be a trusted advisor to employees, handling questions related to benefits, leave, compensation, and more.
Manage 401(k), cafeteria plans, and other employee benefit programs.
Process bi-weekly payroll, collaborating with a third-party provider (ADP experience a plus).
Prepare accurate and timely year-end payroll reports and tax forms (W-2s).
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
You're a great fit if you have:
4+ years of experience in a similar role
A strong understanding of employment laws and best practices.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, HRIS/Payroll systems (ADP experience is a plus!).
Able to prioritize multiple tasks, manage deadlines, and work independently.
