Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HSK Houseperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest areas and supporting the housekeeping department in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other guest facilities.

- Assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning and preparation as needed.

- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.

- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.

- Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly.

- Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all areas of responsibility.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Job Duties & Functions

•  Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
•  Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Avion Hospitality standards as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
•  Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards).
•  Comply at all times with Avion Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
•  Thoroughly clean and restock the required number of guest rooms per shift.
•  Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
•  Remove all trash and dirty linen from guest rooms.
•  Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
•  May be required to disassemble furniture or items in the guest room to conduct deep cleaning.
•  Deep cleaning tasks may include, but are not limited to, changing the AC filter, cleaning the AC coils, touching up paint on walls/molding, touching up scratched furniture, or rehanging closed slide doors.
