The Work You Will Do:
This is a professional human resource position responsible for administering the payroll functions for assigned divisions and the overall management of the insurance and benefits programs of the Department of Business & Professional Regulation. The incumbent in this position serves as subject matter expert for payroll and benefit activities and is responsible for processing related actions in accordance with Florida Statutes, Department of Management Services Personnel Rules, and internal agency policies and procedures. The incumbent serves as the agency's liaison with the Bureau of State Payrolls and the Department of Management Services regarding the benefit and payroll program.

Minimum Requirements:
Preference will be given to those who have:
Experience working with a State of Florida Law Enforcement Agency.
Experience processing military leave.
Familiarity with Department of Management Services (DMS) Personnel Rules and the Bureau of State Payrolls (BOSP) processes and reporting requirements.
Familiarity with Certified Criminal Justice Incentive Pay (CJIP) or similar law enforcement specific pay programs.
Familiarity with E-Verify employment eligibility verification system.
