Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Consultant to support the HR Advisory and Consultancy function through effective execution of HR projects and administrative activities. The role involves contributing to the delivery of high-quality HR consulting services, including audits, compliance reviews, documentation, training, and client engagement. The position requires a balance of structured execution, stakeholder interaction, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while meeting strict deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Conduct audits of human resource systems, both automated and manual
Review HR documentation to ensure compliance with regulations, best practices, and applicable laws
Interview employees and management teams as part of HR assessments and audits
Draft and prepare HR policies, procedures, and process documentation
Support development and improvement of HR systems and operational processes
Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for clients and internal teams
Perform workplace assessments and evaluate operational environments
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for client organizations
Assist in handling employee relations matters, including dispute resolution
Manage client engagements and maintain strong professional relationships
Conduct client visits and site inspections as required
Coordinate and schedule internal and external meetings, including minute-taking
Prepare and present proposals, reports, and audit findings to stakeholders
Develop daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports on HR activities
Ensure timely execution of assignments in line with project timelines
Support business development initiatives within the HR advisory function
Perform additional duties as assigned by the reporting manager
Requirements
Bachelorâs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience in HR operations, HR consulting, or advisory roles
Strong understanding of HR practices, policies, and compliance requirements
Experience in HR audits, documentation, and process improvement is an advantage
Commercial awareness with a results-driven mindset
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in HR systems and digital tools, with strong technical aptitude
High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills in English; Swahili is an added advantage
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Strong report writing and presentation skills
Professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
