The Human Resources Manager supports both employees and leadership by ensuring effective HR operations and compliance while helping maintain a stable and productive work environment. This role is responsible for managing core HR functions and partnering with leadership on people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary contact for employee relations matters
  • Administer investigations, conflict resolution, and performance issues
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee concerns and policy application
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring
  • Partner with managers to identify staffing needs
  • Oversee onboarding processes for new hires
  • Manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Support compensation review and administration along with guiding performance management processes
  • Connect with leadership on compensation-related matters
  • Control employee benefits programs, including coordination with vendors and brokers
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and communication. Including supporting employees with benefits-related questions and navigation
  • Maintain HR systems, records, and documentation
  • Sustain day-to-day HR operations across the organization
  • Aid in improving HR processes and workflows

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of HR experience, depending on scope and depth of experience 
  • Experience managing payroll, benefits, and employee relations independently
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • High level of ownership and accountability
  • Strong judgment and discretion
  • Comfortable operating without direct HR team support

 Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) preferred to support effective communication with a diverse workforce 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
