Join Our Team as a HR Administrative Assistant at The Arc Western Montana!We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate HR Administrative Assistant (HRAA) to join our team. As a HRAA, you will perform administrative duties related to the operations of the human resource office. This position is also responsible for the overall coordination of reception and office duties and the provision of clerical support assistance to a variety of staff at The Arc Western Montana. The successful candidate will be joining a small, welcoming HR team. This is a great opportunity to get started or develop in your HR career with lots of training and support.

$17.50 per hour with 40 hours per week guaranteed

Key Responsibilities:
Support recruitment efforts by conducting phone screens, checking references, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
Coordinate employee engagement activities, including birthdays, anniversaries, and internal announcements.
Respond to common employee and applicant inquiries related to policies, benefits, and hiring; escalate complex questions as needed.
Answer phone calls professionally, relay messages, and welcome office visitors.
Perform clerical tasks such as drafting communications, creating informational materials, and supporting internal publications.
Manage office supply inventory and place orders within budget guidelines.
Assist with special projects and organizational initiatives, including event prep and creating program materials.
Employment Options:
Full-Time: 40 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, email, and other standard office software; HR software experience is a plus.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and punctuation.
Comfortable performing basic math, including calculating rates, ratios, and percentages.
Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Eager to learn and grow within the human resources field.
Certificates or Licenses:
Possession of valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
