Job Description


  • Apex Family Healthcare Services LLC a robust outpatient mental health clinic that provides clinical services to a diverse client population with mental health needs. The provider team consists of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologist and mental health counselors. The Clinic works closely with referral sources such as local hospitals with inpatient psychiatric programs and health centers. There are specialty psychiatrist that see geriatric patients, adults, adolescents, and children. The clinic provides over 20,000 visits a year and is expanding the scope of services provided. The Administrative Assistant/Human Resources role is responsible for posting open positions within the agency and scheduling interviews, assisting with obtaining the necessary documents for new hires and maintaining documentation of HR files. This is an intermediate level position requiring excellent customer service skills. It is highly visible, requiring discretion, good judgment, a pleasant and professional manner and articulate phone voice. Internal and external contacts include prospective employees, current contractors and staff, and external certification agencies. Apex Family Healthcare Services is looking for candidates who are willing to stay with us long term and grow with our organization.

Duties include:

Primary


  • Must Be Able to Multitask

  • Must Be Organized and A Self Starter

  • Must Have Exceptional Communication Skills

  • Must be Proficient in Microsoft Word

  • Must be Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Must be Proficient in Power Point

  • Must be able to Type 50wpm

  • Must Work Well in a Team Environment

  • Must Be Able to Handle Patients with Mental illness

  • Must be Punctual and Have Reliable Transportation.

Secondary:


  • Perform manual and electronic audits of staff records

  • Assist other senior managers as needed

  • Participate in Audit preparation and execution

Minimum Requirements: 5+ yrs  Experience in human resources, preferably in a healthcare environment

Education/Licenses/Certifications: High School Diploma and some post graduate education preferred.
