JOB SUMMARY Perform various Human Resources functions in support of team members, management and the Human Resources department. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains an extremely high level of confidentiality in all actions and duties. Assists team members with completion of any necessary paperwork (e.g., tax forms, direct deposit forms, etc.), and ensure proper entry and/or routing of same. Maintains personnel files, create files for new hires, and convert files upon team member separation. Ensures all onboarding paperwork, including licensing packet and required Isle of Capri/Eldorado documentation, is provided to new hires. Conducts pre-employment background and/or reference checks on potential new hires. Processes new hires’ I-9 forms through eVerify and ensure proper completion of I-9s. Enters new hires into HR/payroll database. Provides daily reporting of new hires, job changes, terminations, and other personnel actions as required for compliance. Administers license renewals for property team members. Respond to employment and/or wage verification requests. Coordinates and conduct team member events and reward & recognition programs. Coordinates property-wide communication initiatives and efforts. Oversees uniform distribution, maintenance, and inventory; maintain process for uniform distribution, exchange, and return. Serves as backup for trainer for new hire orientation and other training as required. Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Computer proficiency is required. Ability to perform multiple duties under frequent time pressure. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with team member and company information. High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 2+ years Benefits/Human Resources experience preferred.
