Role Purpose Statement

We're looking for a bilingual HR professional who is passionate about people, organization, and creating a positive employee experience. In this role, you'll be a key partner in supporting recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll administration, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Location: near San Diego International Airport

Main Accountabilities

Review applications, phone screen qualified applicants and set up interviews with managers of the departments

Initiate background checks and drug screens

Assist with new hire onboarding processes

Prepare weekly open positions report

Assist with payroll support, timekeeping

Track and administer leave of absences

Maintain accurate HR records and confidential personnel records

Respond to employee inquiries

Assist with handling employees Workers Compensation and Liability Reports

Administrative duties and recordkeeping.

Other duties and projects as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

2-4 years of experience as HR clerk required

General Knowledge with Federal, State and County Labor Laws

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook

Ability to work with minimal supervision, interact with all levels of management and maintain strict confidentiality

Strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with large groups – must be flexible

Bi-lingual English/Spanish required
