Salary 45,000 - 50,000


Job Summary


The Benefit Specialist will have a working knowledge of benefit administration and leave policies. Will be responsible for administrating benefits for all QSAC employees including enrollment/termination processing. This position is not remote or hybrid and would require you to work at our Manhattan corporate office five days a week full time 9am-5pm. 


Responsibilities



  • Communicate with QSAC staff about benefits plans including medical, dental, vision and transit

  • Conduct Benefits Orientation & other trainings as needed

  • Assist staff with benefit enrollments and LOA’s

  • Assist in annual open enrollment

  • Maintain employee benefit files, SPD’s and other documents according to record retention requirements and established guidelines

  • Review and Analyze with Worker’s Comp, Disability (Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability), FMLA, PFL and LOA cases


Qualifications & Education



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred

  • 1-3 years of Human Resources Benefits Administration experience preferred

  • Knowledge of benefit program compliance and reporting requirements

  • HCM experience required 

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and HRIS programs 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication 

  • Must be well-organized, detail oriented and have excellent customer service skills
