Job Description - Human Resources Business Partner

Eaton\u2019s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner. This role is based in Davenport, IA. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates within the hiring country.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.\n\nPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nJoin a leader in aerospace innovation. \nEaton\u2019s Mission Systems division manufactures mission critical components for commercial aircraft, military life support systems, and aerial refueling products. As one of the Top 20 major employers in the Quad Cities, we are growing and seeking a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Davenport, IA location. \n \n\n\nWhat You\u2019ll Do \nThe Human Resources Business Partner serves as a strategic partner to leaders and employees, supporting approximately 200 team members across multiple functional groups. In this role, you will blend strategic HR leadership with hands on support to drive performance, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.\n\nKey responsibilities include: \nStrategic HR Partnership \n\u2022 Provide direct HR support to functional leaders, contributing to both strategic planning and day to day operations. \n\u2022 Maintain strong business literacy regarding financials, organizational culture, mid range plans, and competitive landscape. \n\u2022 Analyze HR trends and metrics to recommend proactive solutions and policy improvements. \nEmployee Relations \u0026 Compliance \n\u2022 Manage and resolve complex employee relations matters; conduct objective, thorough investigations. \n\u2022 Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws; partner with legal as needed. \n\u2022 Strengthen workplace relationships, morale, and retention through proactive guidance and coaching. \nTalent Management \u0026 Development \n\u2022 Support hiring, promotions, and internal mobility processes. \n\u2022 Contribute to workforce and succession planning in collaboration with functional leaders. \n\u2022 Facilitate site wide talent development initiatives, including learning sessions, internal career fairs, and employee listening sessions. \n\u2022 Identify training needs and provide coaching to support professional growth. \nOrganizational Support \n\u2022 Help deploy corporate HR programs and initiatives across the site. \n\u2022 Provide support for union related HR activities when needed. \n\u2022 Perform additional related duties to support business objectives.\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field from an accredited institution\n * Minimum 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
