Job Description - Human Resources Business Partner

Advance Your HR Career as a Hands-On HR Business Partner ($95,000–$100,000) – Manufacturing & Logistics Industry


About the Role:
We’re partnering with a high-growth organization in the logistics and shipping industry to hire a HR Business Partner (HRBP) supporting operations and senior leadership.

This is a hands-on, field-facing role where you’ll work closely with leaders and employees to drive HR strategy, employee relations, and day-to-day HR execution. You’ll play a key role in aligning people initiatives with business goals while staying actively engaged on the ground.

Day in the life of a HR Business Partner:

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to business leaders and senior executives
  • Support full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Manage and optimize HRIS systems and employee data processes
  • Deliver HR reporting and insights to support decision-making
  • Partner on compensation, benefits, and leave administration
  • Lead and support training, onboarding, and employee development initiatives
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and organizational challenges

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience
  • Proven experience partnering directly with senior leadership
  • Strong employee relations experience (conflict resolution, performance issues, coaching managers)
  • Solid understanding of core HR functions (recruiting, compensation, benefits, performance management)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and handling HR data/reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-change environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence across all levels of the business
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a focus on practical, real-world solutions
