Job Description - Human Resources Business Partner
HR Corporate Business Partners are responsible for strategic collaboration with leaders to build and develop a strong workforce and align HR initiatives and functions with Famous’ goals and objectives. Primary Job Responsibilities
Build meaningful relationships with Associates to cultivate a safe, trustworthy, and supportive space
Understand leaders’ staffing goals, develop strategy to deliver, then execute
Support leaders through performance evaluation and Associate development
Advise leaders on topics such as ADA, FMLA, and compensation
Collaborate with leaders to increase associate engagement and retention
Practice continuous improvement by reviewing and revising departmental processes and developing new processes as needed
Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning
Responsible for managing employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
Coach leaders on performance improvement and having important conversations
Partner with leaders to ensure new associate onboarding process is executed
Address Associate issues and conduct investigations when necessary
Ensure that the company complies with HR-related laws and regulations and that HR policies and procedures are consistent with the company's values and objectives
Lead HR projects
Required Experience and Skills
Human Resources, or related, experience
Internal customer service mindset
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work
Recruiting and succession planning
Effective communication and teamwork
Preferred Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree Human Resources or related field
3-5 years HR Generalist Experience
Knowledge of employment law
Experience in an office environment
Recruiting experience
Experience in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Experience in ADP WorkForce Now and JazzHR
