Job Description - Human Resources Coordinator

Reports to: Vice President, Human Resources 

Location: Columbus, OH

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000

Position Overview

Luxe Brands is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented, and proactive HR Coordinator to support all aspects of the employee lifecycle and enable efficient, scalable HR operations.

This role plays a critical part in delivering a consistent, high quality employee experience – from recruitment and onboarding through ongoing engagement, performance management, and offboarding. The HR Coordinator will partner closely with the VP of Human Resources, Senior HR Generalist, and Store Training Manager while also supporting broader HR initiatives, reporting, and process improvements.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, anticipates needs before they arise, and enjoys bringing structure, organization, and data-driven insights to HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the company’s recruiting process, including managing job requisitions, coordinating candidate scheduling and communication, tracking pipeline activity, and participating in interviews as needed.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, including new hire paperwork, system setup, travel arrangements, training materials, and new hire communications to deliver a seamless new hire experience.
  • Audit and maintain accurate employee data across HR systems.
  • Create, manage, and deactivate employee accounts across platforms (i.e. Nectar, Calm), including auditing and approving requests as needed. 
  • Support performance management and compensation cycles by launching reviews, sending reminders, and tracking completion. 
  • Maintain employee documentation, including tracking and organizing consent forms, corrective action documentation, and other required records. 
  • Pull, analyze, and report on HR data (i.e. turnover, pipeline, marketing / recruitment ROI) and providing insights to support decision making. 
  • Optimize HR systems (Paylocity, Predictive Index, Seismic) by improving workflows, document management, and overall functionality to drive efficiency, scalability, data accuracy, and a seamless employee experience.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives. 
  • Support HR and training leadership by proactively identifying gaps, solving problems, and ensuring a high quality employee experience across the lifecycle.

Critical Deliverables in First 2 Years

  • Enhance functionality and usage of core HR systems (Paylocity, Predictive Index, Seismic), including workflows, document management, and user adoption to support scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and consistent employee data across systems, ensuring reliable reporting, smooth lifecycle transitions, and strong compliance practices.
  • Build consistent reporting (i.e. turnover, recruiting activity, key HR metrics) and begin identifying trends that inform HR and leadership decision making.
  • Document streamlined processes across the employee lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, job changes, offboarding) to improve consistency and reduce administrative inefficiencies.
  • Become a trusted, go-to partner for HR and cross functional teams by consistently delivering high quality, timely support and proactively addressing gaps or needs.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience supporting full employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with HR reporting and data analysis.
  • Exposure to onboarding, training coordination, or employee experience initiatives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with HR systems (Paylocity and Predictive Index experience a plus).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a multi-brand, multi-location retail environment. 
  • Bridal industry knowledge a plus.
