Position Responsibilities:
- Assists in developing and maintaining positive working relationships with managers and team members, helping to ensure understanding of team member relations and engagement.
- Supports the development, measurement, and implementation of team member engagement initiatives to foster a high-performing workforce.
- Maintains all employee files in accordance with legal requirements, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable laws.
- Helps manage engagement programs and provides administrative support for engagement improvement recommendations.
- Assists in ensuring compliance with HR-related matters by maintaining an in-depth knowledge of employment law and legal compliance.
- Provides support for team member relations, including assisting or managing the full process of investigations and ensuring adherence to legal requirements related to employee relations.
- Assists in managing Leave of Absence, unemployment and Workers Compensation claims, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with policies.
- Supports the training, enforcement, and updates of HR policies and Employee Handbook.
- Coordinates and assists with delivering HR policy and compliance training for managers.
- Maintains updated records of all company job descriptions.
- Provides administrative support for the performance review processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Supports HR team efforts related to benefits and total rewards.
- Assists in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team and Marketing Coordinator on internal communications and social media efforts to promote team recognition and engagement.
- Supports efforts to ensure reliable, predictable, and timely attendance from all team members.
- Participates in the implementation and maintenance of HR programs such as diversity & inclusion initiatives and leadership development programs.
- Ability to work on site and off site.
- Ability to travel as needed and drive to needed locations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment while managing high volume of deliverables which may often times create conflict deadlines.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required.
- 2+ years proven competency in Human Resources.
- Experience and proven competency in implementing successful programs.
- Adaptability and support of change.
- Ability to lead projects of significant complexity.
- HR certification a plus
