ShipMonk is currently seeking a Bilingual People & Culture (Human Resources) Generalist for our fulfillment center in Las Vegas, NV who is proficient in communicating in both English and Spanish. This position is responsible for supporting both our Operations and People & Culture Teams. If you are looking for a position in which no two days are the same, team members are a valued asset, and you look at employee engagement as a high priority – then this role is for you.

What you'll do:

  • The P&C Generalist partners closely with the General Manager and operational leaders of the site to drive and monitor critical people & culture initiatives. Lead with data and bring your unique point of view to nurture a positive experience for team members.

  • Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to interview and onboard new team members. Conduct new team member orientation on-site to ensure new hires gain an understanding of the business, benefit plans, policies, and procedures. Be a primary point of contact to ensure team members have the information needed to be successful.

  • Actively participate in daily and weekly meetings with operations leaders to partner on achieving building metrics.

  • Lead employee investigations, handling the process with care and professionalism.

  • Maintain team member files, employment changes, initiate background screenings, and conduct routine file audits.

  • Write, revise, edit, and proofread company policies & procedures and related documents as needed. Strive for continuous process improvement.

  • Draft and communicate key updates and announcements to team members using our internal messaging tools.

  • Partner with building leaders to create and captain engagement events and fun calendars for the warehouse.

  • Perform other general HR tasks as assigned.

  • Have opportunities for growth - including learning about and partnering with other regions, and supporting strategic corporate initiatives.

What you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience administering general human resources duties preferred.

  • Experience leading a variety of employee investigations.

  • Must be proficient in Spanish and English.

  • Experience with HRIS (UKG) and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies.

  • Must be proficient in Google Suite and MS Office products.

  • Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills. Good punctuation, spelling, grammar, and attention to detail is a must.

  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. The general workweek is Monday through Friday, however during busy seasons (especially our Q4 peak season), additional time may be required outside of the standard weekday schedule.

This position is fully onsite at our Las Vegas location and may require occasional 2nd shift or weekend work
