The Human Resources Manager will manage day-to-day operations of Arden Building Companies' Human Resources function, including but not limited to employee development and performance management, employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting and on-boarding, maintenance of employee records and employee training. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the CEO, interacting frequently with all levels and functions of employees and senior management.
To be successful in this role, the incumbent must be a professional able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities. This Individual must build trust and credibility with all levels of employees by being an effective listener, advocate, mediator, coach and problem-solver of people issues while balancing business needs and corporate growth objectives. This position will be located in our Pawtucket, Rhode Island office, but will require interoffice travel to the Waterbury, Connecticut and Boston, Massachusetts offices..
