Federated Hermes FCP Manager LLC (“FCP”), a subsidiary of Federated Hermes, Inc., is a U.S. multifamily real estate investment manager that has invested in or financed more than $14.8 billion in gross asset value since its founding in 1999. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our Washington, DC team. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing real estate private equity firm supported by a global investment manager.



YOUR IMPACT:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will partner with management to provide both strategic and tactical Human Resources support and guidance in administering human resource functions and strategy including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, payroll, employee relations, performance and talent management; training and development and occupational health and safety.
• Partner with management in the talent acquisition process. This includes developing and executing a recruitment strategy, handling all aspects of the recruitment life cycle and managing recruitment vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
• Effectively manage the administration of payroll, benefits, time and attendance and leave of absence programs. Manage payroll/benefit carrier vendor relationships, ensuring that effective controls are in place and all plans and programs are legally compliant with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.
• Administer compensation programs and related policies and procedures, including base salary and bonus/incentive programs, job descriptions and job evaluations. Manage compensation vendor relationships.
• In partnership with management, assess business needs for training initiatives, talent development, succession planning and performance management to coordinate and administer suitable programs, resources and training.
• Handle employee relations matters pertaining to performance management, employee engagement, employee discipline, employee separations, career counseling, workplace investigations, and unemployment hearings.
• Counsel management on HR matters such as policies/procedures, organization changes/restructures.
• Analyze HR related trends and metrics associated with the business. Assist with policy development in response to marketplace practices and employment law.
• Ensure that appropriate policies and procedures are in place to comply with various requirements which include OSHA reporting/posting and legally required postings.



YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor degree in a business related field or experience in lieu of degree required; Human Resources related degree and/or certifications such as CEBS, CCP, PHR or SHRM preferred.
• Minimum of five years of Human Resources generalist experience including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, payroll and employee relations required.
• Experience in developing and monitoring policies and procedures required.
• Understanding of employment law/regulations, compensation, benefit and payroll administration processes required.
• Experience in talent development, performance management, and project management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft products including Word, Excel and HCM systems required; Oracle experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is $115,000 - $140,000. In addition to base salary, this position includes eligibility for a discretionary bonus which is determined by considering a variety of factors including company financial results and individual performance. We offer our employees (and, as applicable, their dependents) medical, dental, prescription, vision, and basic life insurance benefits. Additionally, Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Each calendar year employees are eligible for paid leave which includes fifteen vacation days, seven sick days, and twelve holidays.
