The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s HR function and supporting a productive, compliant, and employee-focused workplace. This role oversees recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, HR policies, compliance, and workforce planning while partnering with leadership to align people strategies with business goals. The ideal candidate will be well organized; detail and people orientated with an energetic positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational objectives.
Manage full-cycle recruitment, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving workplace issues, and supporting fair and consistent practices.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
Administer compensation, benefits, leave, and employee records in partnership with internal teams or external providers.
Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, coaching, and development planning.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
Support employee engagement, retention, culture, and workplace communication initiatives.
Maintain HR metrics and reports to inform leadership decisions and improve HR operations.
Supervise HR staff or coordinate HR activities across departments, as applicable.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Five or more years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, compliance, and HR operations.
Working knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and workplace compliance requirements.
Experience with HR information systems, payroll or benefits platforms, and HR reporting tools.
Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Experience:
Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
Experience managing or mentoring HR team members.
Familiarity with compensation benchmarking, workforce analytics, and change management.
