Overview Working as part of the HR team, the Employee Relations and Culture Manager will focus on all aspects of employees at the company: ensuring the company harnesses a respectful and positive culture, handling all employee relations-related issues, engaging employees to strive for employee retention, and working with managers to help create clear career paths for employees.
Responsibilities Work to improve employee relations/retention. Review with management all employee disciplinary actions to ensure they are in compliance. Work closely with management regarding any employee issues. Conducts exit interviews with departing employees. Analyzes new hire and internal department transition training needs and coordinates with the Training Manager. Oversees that training has been completed. Coordinates additional training as needed. Conducts or supervises special courses including yearly employee harassment training (to be automated) to ensure appropriate levels of training for personnel in operational, supervisory, and management roles. Is active within all company events, representing the HR function of the business. Oversee yearly company performance reviews. Strengthen internal talent with career pathing with assistance from management. Oversees and monitors HR Policies and Procedures, staying up to date with current legislation and policy updates with our third-party provider. Answer questions employees have about company benefits.
*You will handle all HR responsibilities outside of payroll and recruiting.
Requirements 4+ years of Human Resource/HR Management experience Bachelors degree, preferably in HR Strong employee relations experience with expertise in employee retention and career growth programming. Excellent communication and people skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Background in banking/finance preferred
