Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager for an onsite role in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have a background in the tech industry, preferably with experience in trendy tech companies. This individual will be responsible for managing HR operations onsite in Chicago while also overseeing HR functions in our other office locations. The ability to effectively collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones is crucial for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and objectives.
Manage the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees across all office locations.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution.
Oversee employee benefits administration and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with department heads to identify training and development needs and coordinate training programs.
Conduct regular audits of HR processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and escalate issues as necessary.
Actively participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of HR initiatives to support company growth and expansion.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance HR processes and policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
5+ years of HR management experience, with a focus on the tech industry.
Experience working with global teams across multiple office locations and time zones.
Strong understanding of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
HR Certification (SHRM) Required
