The Human Resources Manager is a key business partner to Corporate function leaders and associates. This position will be responsible for leadership and support to teams in areas of: Performance Management, Talent Management, Employee Development, Talent and Succession Planning, Compensation, Employee Relations, Culture and Engagement, and Change Management. The Human Resources Manager will ensure the talent strategy and initiatives support the key results of functional teams and the company. This position will be working with senior-level leaders, influencing talent activities, and driving measurable outcomes.
This position has been segmented as Hybrid meaning there is a combination of three onsite days per week and the rest remote.
Responsibilities: Lead and coordinate HR activities that align with business goals; managing all aspects of employee routines including recruiting, on-boarding, setting goals, measuring and assessing performance, development, succession planning, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and exits. Provide guidance and counsel on organization design, change management, staffing, diversity & inclusion, engagement, retention, and elevating performance. Work with business teams to determine short/long range staffing needs and collaborate on plan of action for recruitment and hiring decisions to ensure appropriate legal and EEO/AAP requirements. Direct the activities of the recruitment process both pre- and post- offer to include completion of necessary background checks, offer letters, status notices, and drug testing. Conduct investigations or partner with internal investigations team on issues including, but not limited to, associate issues/complaints of harassment, inappropriate conduct, ethics violations, etc. Work closely with management to determine appropriate resolutions and outcomes. Lead and support complex HR issues including employee relations issues with legal implications, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans and terminations. Develop and implement HR programs and policies, including communication and training for management and associates. Will direct and assist in the development of appropriate management and associate training programs to assist with functional skill development, leadership development, and associate development programs. Administer performance appraisal and merit increase processes and assists with compensation administration to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the function and Support Office locations. Make compensation recommendations to hiring manager.
Qualifications:
Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
Related Experience: 7+ years of HR experiences with at least 3 years at the manager level
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures including talent assessment Working knowledge of employment law on a federal and state level Ability to make effective and appropriate decisions Ability to be effective in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence senior leaders Ability to identify business opportunities and align them to talent activities and goals Computer proficiency - MS Office and Workday HRIS
