ABOUT THE ROLE

The Human Resource Manager is responsible for performing all aspects of Human Resource Operations, as well as administration and maintenance of all Facility Benefit Programs, consistent with Legends Global policies and procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL DO (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES)

• Follows Legends Global Human Resources policies to assure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions
• Administers various Human Resources plans and procedures for all facility personnel
• Leads recruitment activities: creates job descriptions and posts open job, source/identify candidates, interview candidates and assist with hiring decisions
• Plans and conducts new employee orientations
• Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and 401k, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting
• Coordinates hiring manager training for interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance management, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment policies
• Coordinates employee training for Legends Global Customer Service Training
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Advises the corporate office of EEOC complaints and other employee relations problems.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs
• Administers performance review and salary program
• Assists employees with benefits administration
• Implements union collective bargaining agreements and ensures all portions of the agreement are administered correctly
• Investigates accidents and prepares reports

WHAT YOU BRING (QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)

Education and/or Experience

• 3+ years related HR experience
• Experience administering benefit programs
• Workday experience (or equivalent) highly preferred
• Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience highly preferred
• Union experience is very highly preferred for this role

Skills and Abilities

• Solid knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration
• State and federal HR regulations and laws required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to work both independently (this is currently an HR team of one) and in a team environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT & TRAVEL

• This is an on-site position
• The HR Manager will, on a very limited basis, be asked to work events outside of traditional hours

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position, $80,000-$85,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications. Legends Global offers a competitive total rewards package, including extensive health benefits, 401K contributions, PTO packages, and more.
