Position Overview:
The HR Operations Specialist provides operational support to the Human Resources Department and oversees HR documentation, employee data, onboarding/offboarding and supports benefits administration, and ad-hoc departmental projects and assignments. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, client-centric, collaborative, passionate about the employee experience, detail-oriented and understand employment laws and regulations related to their job duties.
Responsibilities:
HR Administration & Data
Responsible for all employee data, files and records including updating new hire and job change information.
Create new accounts and manage access permissions for HR systems.
Responsible for new colleague and intern onboarding and offboarding with a focus on a highly customer-centric experience.
Ensure all colleagues are onboarded and offboarded by company, state, and federal standards.
Support all immigration-related matters.
Support
HR-related compliance matters including training administration, document retention, policy research, and related process changes.
Process and reconcile HR invoices and ensure proper filing.
Respond to all Tier 1 level HR inquiries and monitor the HR inbox and physical mail.
Maintain repository for all employee posting in Share Point
Maintain process documentation with a focus on continuous process improvement.
Ensure compliance with all data protection regulations.
Train new hires and other HR system users on functionalities and new features.
Export regular and ad hoc reports from our internal databases (for example, headcount and I-9 compliance reports)
Benefits
Run benefits administration process and maintain a working knowledge of company's benefit plans, Open Enrollment process, including employee education and communication, and audits as needed.
Oversee leave of absence administration by liaising with external vendors.
Other:
Assists HR Department with various research projects and/or special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3-5 years of prior HR experience
Well-versed in Excel
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
A high-achieving work ethic, actively identifying opportunities for process improvement
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Attentive to details and deadlines
Maintaining a curious mindset, always willing to learn new information
Interest in a career in Human Resources
Proven teamwork capabilities
Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills

Compensation
Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $75,000 - $85,000.
