Job Description - Human Resources Payroll Consultant

As a payroll consultant with expertise in the Paycom system, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive payroll support using the Paycom platform. Your role will involve leveraging your deep understanding of the Paycom system to optimize payroll processes reporting, troubleshoot issues.

Payroll Management:

Process the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, processing, and distribution of payroll.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Handle payroll and benefits inquiries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance.
System Expertise:
Stay updated on Paycom system updates and enhancements, providing recommendations for optimization and efficiency.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with relevant payroll laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Generate accurate payroll reports and assist with audits as needed.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement the reporting and automation within the payroll function.
Recommend enhancements to the Paycom system or additional integrations to streamline payroll processes.
Work closely with internal teams to implement improvements and drive efficiencies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration preferred
Proven experience in payroll administration or consulting, with a strong understanding of payroll principles and practices.
In-depth knowledge of the Paycom system, with demonstrated experience in its configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle sensitive information securely.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) or relevant professional qualifications is a plus.
