Job Description - Human Resources Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator

About Us:
Opening in Fall 2025, The June is set to become Jacksonville’s newest Private Membership Club, designed to bring together a diverse community in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Our club offers exclusive experiences while maintaining a down-to-earth spirit, connecting members of all backgrounds, ages, and professions. The June is backed by a global team of seasoned hospitality professionals, designers, and operators, and is dedicated to enriching members’ lives through a focus on community, hospitality, design, and memorable experiences

Position Overview:
As the HR Recruitment and Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in attracting, hiring, and welcoming top-tier talent to the June Club. This position is hands-on and dynamic, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and onboarding during the preopening phase. Weekend work will be required as we ramp up for our grand opening.

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process: post jobs, source candidates, schedule interviews, and conduct reference checks
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions
  • Organize and participate in job fairs, open houses, and hiring events—often on weekends during the preopening phase
  • Coordinate pre-employment paperwork, background checks, and compliance documentation
  • Execute on and facilitate a welcoming onboarding experience for all new hires
  • Prepare and deliver orientation materials and training schedules
  • Maintain accurate personnel records and applicant tracking systems
  • Support the HR team with employee relations, engagement programs, and club culture initiatives
  • Serve as a main point of contact for new hires, addressing questions and providing guidance throughout the onboarding process
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws
