Position: Humanities Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $45–$60/hour
Location: Remote

Role Responsibilities

• Write questions from your field, including sources, context, and interpretive problems. Provide reference answers for model grading.
• Grade model-written interpretations and arguments. Assess source accuracy, reasoning validity, and contextual correctness.
• Flag instances where models produce fluent prose that misreads texts, flattens debates, or invents citations.
• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure consistency, relevance, and coverage across datasets.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• A graduate degree in a humanities field or equivalent scholarly or professional experience.
• Clear written communication skills.
• Comfort with ambiguous tasks and willingness to flag unclear instructions.
