HVAC Applications Engineer

Our client is a leading provider of an array of HVAC services, including Airflow Measurement, Cable Hanging Systems, Critical Environment Diffusers, Dampers, Displacement Ventilation, Duct Heaters, Ductwork, Energy Recovery, and more. They are currently seeking a proficient HVAC Applications Engineer. This role involves the technical promotion of products and interfaces with various stakeholders. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that the company's products become the basis of design in construction documents.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain expertise across all represented products; specialization in specific areas or product families is encouraged.
• Provide accurate and comprehensive product knowledge to all stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Offer input on product promotion strategies.
• Coordinate and lead engineering appointments and training lunches.
• Visit construction sites or client facilities to offer solutions or resolve field challenges with our products.
• Travel with engineers or others doing business with our client to manufacturer training schools or seminars.
• Utilize programs such as Sales Force, Fishbowl, and Greenheck CAPS.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of HVAC design experience.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for HVAC air movement and air control devices and a working knowledge of controls and mechanical equipment.
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and specialty equipment software.
• Excellent ability to educate and communicate proficiently regarding product characteristics and performance.
