HVAC Field Service Supervisor

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Field Service Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations and on-site activities related to mechanical HVAC. This role involves supervising field teams, coordinating with commercial clients, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and maintaining project timelines and budgets.

• Supervise and coordinate HVAC, Plumber field service technicians and commercial cleints on active project sites/service calls.
• Ensure all installations, maintenance, and repairs are executed to code, design specifications, and safety standards. 
• Manage project schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and project milestones.
• Conduct routine inspections and quality checks of ongoing MEP works.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex HVAC/Refrigeration system issues on-site. Our HVAC Field Service Supervisor will be hands on-working in the field primarly in the HVAC and Refrigeration Service/Repair and Installations.
• Serve as the main point of contact between the field service technicians and commercial clients.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, inspection reports, and equipment records.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians and apprentices.
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve technical issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical HVAC; trade certification may also be considered with relevant experience.  EPA Universal License.  HVAC and Refrigeration background.    
• Minimum 5+ years of field experience in MEP systems with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.  
• Strong understanding of HVAC/Refrigeration systems.  
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices (e.g., NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA).  
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.  
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.  
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client/project sites.
