Job Responsibilities

The Field Supervisor is a senior-level HVAC technician responsible for delivering high-quality personal production while supporting field consistency, technician development, and operational standards. This role combines expert technical execution with structured coaching responsibilities to elevate team performance.

The Field Supervisor is expected to model best practices in workmanship, customer communication, pricing discipline, safety, and process compliance. In addition to performing service and repair work, this position conducts ride-alongs, provides field-based coaching, and reinforces company standards to ensure profitable, efficient, and consistent job execution.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

• Perform HVAC service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work to company standards
• Complete full system inspections on every applicable call
• Present repair and replacement options clearly and professionally
• Maintain pricing discipline and margin protection on all work
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with minimal callbacks
• Model professional customer communication and field conduct
• Maintain accurate job documentation and software usage
• Keep company vehicle, tools, and work areas clean and organized
• Follow all safety standards and PPE requirements

Field leadership responsibilities include:

• Onboard incoming field team members
• Conduct ride-alongs with technicians for coaching and quality review
• Provide field-based technical guidance and problem solving
• Reinforce company SOPs and service processes
• Identify training opportunities and skill gaps
• Support callback investigations, root-cause correction, and reconcile customer concerns
• Communicate field issues to management
• Assist with job readiness and workflow coordination
• Participate in meetings and ongoing training

Other duties as assigned to support safe, profitable, and consistent field execution.

• 3+ years of experience in HVAC preferred.
• EPA Certification.
• NATE Certification(s) preferred.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Pass a drug test.
• Reside within 45 minutes of our office.
