HVAC Insides Sales Estimator

R.J. O'Neil has been providing trusted mechanical services for nearly 100 years. We are looking for an experienced HVAC Inside Sales Estimator
to join our team in Montgomery, Illinois.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong commercial HVAC background who enjoys working closely with technicians, suppliers and customers to develop accurate repair and replacement proposals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare HVAC repair and replacement estimates. 


• Review field notes, photos, and equipment information.


• Work directly with service technicians and suppliers to develop complete scopes of work.


• Price labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.


• Prepare professional customer proposals and quotations.


• Follow up on outstanding quotes and answer customer questions.


• Coordinate with the service, purchasing, and operations teams.


• Maintain quote documentation and CRM records.


• Assist with equipment selections and manufacturer pricing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC estimating or service experience.


• Strong knowledge of rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and refrigeration.


• Ability to read mechanical plans and specifications.


• Experience with commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers.


• Excellent communication and organizational skills.


• Strong computer skills.
