Make a Difference as an HVAC Install Apprentice

Are you ready to get your hands dirty and learn a skilled trade? As an HVAC Install Apprentice at Interstate Mechanical in Knoxville, TN, you'll work under the guidance of experienced installers to assist with commercial HVAC system installation, including:

• Reading blueprints and system schematics


• Installing ductwork, valves, hangers, and fittings


• Assisting with system tests and leak detection


• Performing general labor, material handling, and cleanup


• Prioritizing safety and quality at every job site

This is a role where you’ll learn by doing, building your confidence, competence, and career path every day.

What Matters Most

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• High school diploma or GED


• Interest in enrolling in HVAC apprenticeship school (PHCC)


• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work at heights, and in variable weather


• Willingness to follow directions and commit to learning


• Strong communication and time management skills


• One year of related experience preferred, but not required
