HVAC Install Lead

We are looking for a skilled and reliable HVAC Install Lead to join our team. In this role, you will take the lead on residential HVAC installation jobs, ensuring that systems are installed accurately, efficiently, and according to code. While this is not a supervisory position, you will be responsible for executing the install from start to finish and setting the pace and quality for the job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Installation Tasks: Take primary responsibility for completing residential HVAC system installations, including equipment, ductwork, and accessories.


• Job Execution: Interpret job layouts, plans, and equipment specifications to ensure proper installation and code compliance.


• Customer Communication: Interact professionally with homeowners to explain the installation process, answer questions, and ensure a positive customer experience.


• Safety & Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and ensure installs meet code requirements and manufacturer specifications.


• Documentation: Accurately complete installation paperwork, system start-up checklists, and record parts used.


• Support Team: Work collaboratively with installation helpers and communicate needs clearly to ensure jobs are completed on time.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on HVAC installation experience in residential settings.


• Skills: Strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.


• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in attics and crawlspaces, and perform physical labor in various conditions.


• Other: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.


• Certifications: EPA certification required; NATE certification a plus.
