 Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems.

· Collaborate with contractors, builders, and homeowners to determine installation requirements and specifications.

· Inspect and troubleshoot existing HVAC systems for faults and malfunctions.

· Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems to ensure optimal efficiency and performance.

· Test HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and adherence to manufacturer specifications.

· Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns during installation and maintenance.

· Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times.

 Knowledge of: 

· Standard practices of the HVAC and refrigeration trade.

· Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

· Materials, methods and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

· Applicable building codes, ordinances and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC, refrigeration and boilers, air compressors and pneumatic controls.

· Cooling tower and boiler water treatment.

· Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.

· Welding and soldering techniques.

· Health and safety regulations.

· Basic record-keeping techniques.

· Proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of residential HVAC experience
• HVAC trade school completion and EPA
• Valid CA Driver's License 
• Excellent Communication and customer service skills

 Physical Demands: 

· Work is performed while standing, sitting, and/or crouching for full shift.

· Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.

· Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

· Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.

· Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.

· Requires the ability to go up and down ladders, stairs, emergency exits etc., multiple times a day.

· Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
