Full Job Description
HVAC Services is seeking skilled HVAC Installers/Technicians to join our dynamic team. This position requires expertise in HVAC maintenance and repair, electrical systems, and mechanical and plumbing maintenance. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality service and maintaining the integrity and functionality of HVAC systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal functionality.
- Conduct instrument calibrations and document all maintenance activities.
- Complete work order projects, ensuring timely documentation upon completion.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power distribution and control systems, branch circuits, and other electrical and low voltage components.
- Provide mechanical maintenance for manufacturing and refrigeration equipment, as well as utility equipment including compressors, HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and generators.
- Carry out HVAC maintenance tasks, repairing leaks in lines and connections, and performing necessary replacements and repairs on HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 7+ years proven experience as a Commercial HVAC Technician or similar role in the HVAC industry.
- Technical certification or associate degree in HVAC, electrical, or mechanical maintenance preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostic instruments and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to participate in emergency service rotations and work off-hours when needed.
