HVAC Maintenance Technician

Job Overview:

Evaluate HVAC systems and equipment to assess their condition and identify / perform any necessary repairs or preventive maintenance. 

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and service all HVAC products on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction
• Review diagnostics and use the proper tools to complete repairs
• Perform proper preventative maintenance as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Provide final inspection of systems once repairs are completed to ensure all equipment is operating safely
• Foster good customer relations by explaining the service work performed, providing technical support and making sure they are happy with the job that has been done
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required to maintain and enhance departmental productivity

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 
• Solid experience with hand and power tools, as well as a mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand system literature
• Must be able to work well independently and in a team
• Must be able to be on-call within our on-call rotation 
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, in speech and writing, with customers, staff, managers, supervisors, contractors and clients
• Valid driver’s license required
