HVAC Project Manager

As a member of the ENTEC Project Management Team, you will manage the delivery of HVAC, Energy and  Retro-commissioning projects throughout the organization. This position will typically engage with projects once the job is sold, then direct resources inside and outside the company to deliver the project on time, within costs and with highest quality. You will be an integral part of numerous projects at any given time and responsible for getting the best results possible.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating projects by serving as the project leader on assigned projects
• Determining and managing execution of work, manpower forecasts, and material resources
• Scheduling field resources and providing support to ensure an efficient installation, start up, and turnover to the client
• Developing and managing documentation associated with change orders and requests for information
• Invoicing of project work completed to ensure positive cash flow
• Maintaining a working knowledge of general conditions, scope of work, schedule, and specifications of each project and keeping all project team members fully informed on the project status
• Planning ahead to prevent problems, resolving any emerging issues before they become a problem, and identifying and managing risks
• Ensuring contractual obligations are met including compliance with safety guidelines
• Foster and develop relationships with clients as well as other contractors associated with each project

Job Requirements

•  Knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems, or experience in related field
• Strong customer service skills
• Outstanding verbal and written communication
• Ability to work well individually and in a collaborative environment
• Flexibility – each project may require a custom solution and unique approach
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to manage conflict and solve problems 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to kneel, squat, twist, bend, and reach regularly
• Ability to perform repetitive hand movements, use hand tools with dexterity, and grasp and manipulate small objects
• Ability to respond quickly to sounds or dangerous situations
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain
• Ability to safely climb ladders and perform work while on a ladder
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly, as required

Preferred Qualifications and Capabilities

• Associate degree with 2 years of construction project management experience in the building automation or HVAC industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field

Anticipated Salary Range and Employee Benefits

• $60,000 - $85,000
• Company vehicle
