Vixxo is seeking a full-time HVAC - R - Equipment Technician to manage a territory covering the Bronx, NY, and surrounding areas. Compensation ranges from $35 per hour to $40 per hour, depending on experience.

THE ROLE:

As an HVAC Refrigerant Equipment Technician, you will work independently to provide reactive and preventative maintenance services throughout an assigned territory – see for yourself how one of our technicians describes a day in the life by clicking here!

TOP 4 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Service and repair commercial refrigeration and ice machine equipment in a restaurant enviroment.


• Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory.


• Own relationships with your customers and inspire customer loyalty by providing professional and reliable services that adhere to all safety rules


• Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements required by customers, which include conducting thorough inspections, performing timely maintenance on equipment correctly the first time, and completing descriptive and accurate paperwork

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred HVAC-R certification with a minimum of two years of experience servicing commercial refrigeration equipment.


• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or customer-service role


• Must like coffee: Tasting is the final step in all repairs


• Smartphone proficient in inventory, managing scheduling, and other tasks


• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record


• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
