Job Description - HVAC Sales Manager

Description

Sales Manager to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management. Responsible for the sales training and process in all departments.

Responsibilities:

  • In addition, specific  duties relating to training, hiring, and maintaining profitability 
  • Review estimates, sold jobs, and performance reports daily, discussion with appropriate managers as warranted.
  • Own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales representatives
  • Sales training and ride-a-longs for sales, service, plumbing, and install.
  • Lowes and Home Depot retail program management and performance 
  • Develop the agenda and lead weekly sales meetings.
  • Continue to work with the Office Manager and other managers to improve the overall internal efficiencies of the company. 
  • Implementation and execution of the strategic plan as outlined by the management to reach desired goals.
  • Act as a backup to the following management positions: Operations, Service, and Office.
  • Develop operations standards and policies through input and discussion with the Installation, Service, and Office Managers.
  • Be available to answer manager and/or employee questions.
  • Resolve disputes and problems, which may arise amongst department or employees 
  • Resolve customer disputes and issues
  • Review pricing and update per mark-up and margin guidelines set by management
  • Attend weekly manager meetings and assist the owner in the tracking and monitoring of department goals and effectiveness

Certain key business indicators will measure the effectiveness of the Sales Manager. These include the following:

  • Profitability of the company as a whole.
  • Growth and hit sales targets
  • Lowes & Home Depot Performance 
  • Departments that is functioning smoothly and making goal
  • Positive culture and morale 

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some weeknights, and weekends
