Job Title: HVAC Sales Representative (In-Home)


Position Summary: The HVAC Sales Representative is responsible for selling HVAC systems, components, and services to residential and commercial customers. This includes providing information on different types of HVAC systems and technologies, conducting on-site assessments to determine customers’ needs, recommending appropriate systems and solutions, providing estimates and financing options, and closing sales. The HVAC Sales Representative is also responsible for following up with customers to close sales, rehashing past opportunities to close sales, and resolving any customer experience issues that may arise throughout the transaction.



Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Provide information on different types of HVAC systems and technologies

  • Conduct on-site assessments to determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate systems and solutions

  • Provide estimates and financing options

  • Close sales and generate revenue through the sale of HVAC products and services

  • Follow up with customers to close sales and resolve any customer experience issues

  • Build strong, lasting relationships with the Company’s customers

  • Conduct research on products and services and stay informed about competitors offers and value propositions

  • Listen actively to customers to gather intel about pain points, what they value, what they want and what they need

  • Communicate effectively and persuasively to present products and services and overcome objections

  • Keep accurate records of sales activity and interactions with customers

  • Continuously learn about new products, industry changes, legal requirements, and customer behavior

  • Ask for the sale and follow up with prospects on a consistent and recorded basis



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Disciplined and committed to excellence

  • Strong relationship building, negotiation, and influencing skills

  • 2+ Previous and proven experience with in-home HVAC sales

  • Competent computer and technology skills 



Requirements:



  • Insurable driving record

  • Drug free

  • Free of felony convictions

  • Physical ability to climb ladders and work in attics and rooftops

  • Limber ability to access tight and confined spaces
