HVAC Service Maintenance Technician

Solace Enterprises is a rapidly growing, family-first, full-service commercial mechanical contractor operating throughout Northern California. We are looking for Apprentice level technicians to join our Service department. 

The technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems,  in addition to performing other related duties.

A candidate for this job opening must be able to identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of HVAC issues on various system types. Candidates for this position level should be capable of diagnosing equipment issues to make recommendations for maintenance and repair, be able to explain related technical information to customers in a way that can be easily understood, and perform tasks under the supervision of a lead technician.

Applicants for this full-time position should have:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.


• Posses a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.


• Must be 21 years old.


• Preferably have at least two years of experience working at this level with the following qualities:
  
  
  
  • Ability to repair HVAC packaged and split systems ranging from 1-7.5 tons for commercial systems.
  
  
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical knowledge.
  
  
  • Basic understanding of refrigerant cycle.
