HVAC Service Manager

Since 2000, 3 Mountains Home Services has been installing sinks, replacing water heaters, completing large remodel projects, and more in all of Portland, Sherwood, Newberg, Tualatin, Lake Oswego, Tigard, Beaverton, and Hillsboro. Our friendly technicians are tasked with the highest level of service and respect for your home or business.

The HVAC Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC service department, ensuring high-quality service delivery, efficient operations, and customer satisfaction. This role will include a bonus incentive contingent on department performance, targeting 10-15% of base salary.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Coaching and managing your team of service technicians to achieve the expected key performance indicators, including sales conversion, average sales, and sales per hour.
• Experience with managing a team of 10-20 technicians.
• Fiercely train our sales and service technicians with respect to best sales practices using proven techniques for a high-performing sales department, including presenting options, tech generated leads (TGL’s), maintenance to monetization on Service & Maintenance, etc.
• Minimum department meetings of 1x per week regarding key performance indicators.
• Build a positive, can-do culture to go above and beyond the expectations of our customers and to maintain a solid reputation in the community.
• Assisting our recruiting team in interviewing and identifying the best candidates to fulfill open positions.
• Comfortable with Service Titan (preferred) and learn to utilize its data and reporting to effectively monitor staff performance on a per job basis.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING!

• Strong leadership skills
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to drive top line revenue growth and profitability in an HVAC Service department.
• Valid HVAC certifications (EPA 608, NATE, etc.)
• Knowledge of ServiceTitan (Preferred)
• 5+ years of prior Service Technician experience
• 3+ years of management experience
