Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Service Technician to join our team, serving both residential and commercial clients in Lincoln, NE and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This position requires strong technical ability, customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, and ventilation systems.


• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections.


• Install, replace, and calibrate HVAC components and controls as needed.


• Test system performance using specialized tools (manometers, gauges, electrical testers, etc.).


• Accurately document service calls, findings, and parts used.


• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair options, recommendations, and system operation.


• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards.


• Respond to emergency service calls as scheduled or assigned.


• Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.


• 2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and/or commercial).


• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and safety standards.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.

Work Conditions/Requirements:

• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.


• May require lifting heavy equipment including but not limited to 25 to 50 pounds.


• Ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.


• Travel to different job sites as needed.
