Job Title: HVAC Technician

Job Description:

As an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform maintenance, repair, and servicing tasks on HVAC systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. You will be expected to ensure that HVAC systems operate efficiently, effectively, and safely to maintain optimal indoor comfort levels.

Schedule: 7a-5pm Mon-Sat (On-Call Style Schedule)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance:
   
   
   • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
   • Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts to ensure optimal system performance.
   • Inspect electrical components and controls to ensure proper functioning and safety.
   • Test HVAC systems to verify proper operation and identify any areas for improvement.
2. Repair:
   
   
   • Diagnose malfunctions in HVAC systems by inspecting components and using testing equipment.
   • Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, compressors, thermostats, and valves.
   • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to restore functionality.
   • Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and service calls.
3. Servicing:
   
   
   • Perform routine servicing and tune-ups on HVAC equipment to extend its lifespan and optimize efficiency.
   • Respond promptly to service calls from customers to address heating or cooling issues.
   • Provide recommendations to customers regarding system upgrades, replacements, or energy-saving solutions.
   • Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   
   
   • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
   • Comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in all maintenance, repair, and servicing activities.
   • Stay updated on advancements in HVAC technology, regulations, and best practices through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician, preferably with a minimum of [X years] in maintenance, repair, and servicing.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration components.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid HVAC technician license or certification (if required by state or local regulations).
• Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.

• Must be Open to Overtime
• Must Be Open to be OTR attending to Retail Locations
