HVAC Technician

CYNWAVE Solutions is seeking a HVAC Technician to join our growing HVAC team.  HVAC Tech will be responsible to provide HVAC preventive maintenance, diagnosis and repairs for established site at Government military facility as was as on demand service using accepted industry standard methods and following the manufacturers’ and/or Federal Government guidelines on facility HVAC equipment.  The Tech will respond to client requests assigned in a safe, efficient, clean and professional manner.  

Job Details:

• Location: Vicksburg, MS


• Shift: Monday – Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed for emergencies

Qualifications: 

• HVAC License (required)


• Chiller Certification (required)


• NATE certification (required)


• Universal CFC Certification (required)


• HVAC Excellence or UA Star Certification (preferred)


• Communicate effectively in English speaking and writing

Duties:

• Primarily responsible for all chiller-related maintenance and repairs


• Responsible for performing work safely and reporting to the Project Manager any observed safety and security problems


• Installation of HVAC equipment and systems


• Perform preventative maintenance to commercial HVAC equipment including but not limited to chillers, heat pumps, split systems, roof top units, air handling units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV systems, etc.


• Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government criminal background check


• U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien


• Good physical condition with ability to lift 75 lbs. and possessing good fine motor coordination and ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, heights, and confined spaces


• Must be able to respond to after-hours emergency calls


• Clearly document all BAS configuration changes, troubleshooting procedures, and maintenance activities related to the HVAC system.
  

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent


• Minimum of five (5) years' experience
