HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience, and a commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality service in residential, commercial, or institutional settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment

• Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform corrective repairs

• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance

• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal codes and safety standards

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on jobs

• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and supervisors regarding job status and system recommendations

• Respond to emergency repair requests and be available for on-call support, if required

Qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 2–5 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair

• Valid HVAC technician certification or EPA Section 608 certification

• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing related to HVAC

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined or elevated spaces

Preferred:

• Completion of an HVAC apprenticeship or technical program

• State HVAC license or journeyman certification

• OSHA 10 or 30 certification

• Experience with building automation systems (BAS)

Work Environment:

• Work may be performed indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions

• May require working in tight or elevated spaces

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
