Job Summary:
This position will have a lot of autonomy so the ability to self manage and work alone is a must, you will be responsible for managing your own account
s and prioritizing your own schedule. JC Energy Solutions is a small but mighty commercial and residential HVAC service company with an emphasize on thermal storage and energy upgrades.
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial settings. This position will be required to maintain and troubleshoot thermal storage hybrid air conditioners, training and tech support will be provided. Technician will work primarily in the orange county area, a company vehicle will be provided with the option to take home if the vehicle can be parked in a safe location. Technician will need to have the ability to work alone and prioritze repairs needed, keep good rapport with site contacts and service partners
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system issues
- Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
- Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes
Skills
- Proficiency in appliance repair and equipment repair
- Knowledge of property maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for HVAC systems
- Mechanical knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs
- Experience with HVAC/R systems
- Brazing skills for fabrication and repairs
