HVAC Technician

Pay Rate: $37.42/hr. minimum. Dependent on experience

Shift: Varies

Position Type: Full Time, Non-exempt

PURPOSE

To maintain all heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and kitchen appliances and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair all HVAC systems.
• Assist with HVAC Installations
• Performs Preventive Maintenance Procedures.
• Repair Kitchen appliances
• Keep records, maintenance logs, etc.
• Monitor temperatures and set points regularly.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD).
• Two (2) years Vocational Training in HVAC or five (5) years on-the-job experience.
• HVAC and Refrigerant Recovery Certification.
• Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.

Skills and Abilities:

• Must be a self-starter.

PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

• Class “C” Boiler License

Skills and Abilities:

• Proven basic computer skills and knowledge of DX, DDC Systems.
